Your rural halls are far more than buildings – they play an important role in bringing communities together. We will develop a rural community hub plan around halls, parks and facilities that supports the different needs of rural ratepayers and your families.

We will also come up with a solution to the costs of earthquake strengthening and ongoing improvements to rural halls.

Rural safety is a priority. Gang intimidation will be out, including patch banning enforcement in all council-owned or supported facilities – libraries, parks, community centres, halls, sport facilities and playgrounds.

I have known Damon Harvey for over 15 years in his role as our Marketing agent for Cottages NZ.
